Milo Marathon 2012

Even the strongest typhoon can't stop this event! Milo Marathon 2012 is a major annual event for runners. The event culminated yesterday and their assembly area was at Mall of Asia. The assembly time depends on the number of kilometer they will run the farthest the Kl the earlier the time they will assemble.

The main façade of the Manila Cathedral is graced by statues of famous saints sculpted in Roman travertine stone. In the old cathedral, they were originally made of molave wood.

The saints are St. Rose of Lima, patroness of the Philippines by Angelo Fattinanzi, St. Jacob the Great, St. Andrew the Apostle, preacher of the faith in many corners of Asia and patron of saint of Manila, by Livia Papini; St. Francis Xavier, apostle of the Indies, by Alcide Tico; St. Polycarp, old bishop of Smyrna, by Alcide Tico; and St. Anthony Abbot, founder of Oriental monasticism, by Livia Papini.

Finally got a chance to gallivant Intramuros. Photos were randomly taken inside this walled city! The last time I was here was like Six years ago when our Prof asked us to visit some of the historic places here in the Philippines. Due to Financial contraint and proximity wise we decided this is the right place! hahaha Nothing changed, It looks exactly the same six years ago.

My youngest brother accompanied me and served as my tour guide there for free!

This market also sells wide selection of Fruits!

I think this guy is a Chef and he also owns this stall! The prices of his food will cost you an arm and a leg! haha But I'm pretty sure Great food comes with a great price!
